Coastal Valentine's Day

Love is in the air!

Spending Valentine’s Day at the coast this year? We’ve got some suggestions on how to make it a day to remember.

Romantic dinner for two with a sunset view of the Cape Fear River. The George offers outdoor seating right on the river. Their seafood is fresh and delicious! Another spot that can’t be missed is Floriana. If you can get a balcony table for two, you won’t regret it. It may be a little chilly in February, so wear something cozy. Both of these places offer an amazing view of the riverwalk and river itself.

For dessert, we recommend the classic Kilwins for ice cream or handmade fudge. It’s right nextdoor to Floriana and a short moonlit stroll away from The George. And only a short walk from Kilwins is The Peppered Cupcake. If you’re a little more adventurous with your dessert choices, make sure to check them out! Their gourmet cupcakes are divine!

If you’re looking to spend some quiet alone time together, a couples massage might be right up your alley. Coastal Massage Spa has some great options for some relaxing duo moments.

Or if you're a little more adventurous, try an escape room! The Exit Games is located right in the heart of Downtown Wilmington and can be a fun date (or non-date with friends).

One of our favorite things to do here at Navigate, wine tasting! Noni Bacca offers tastings seven days a week!

Did someone say romantic getaway? Did you know our Navigate Realty Coastal NC team specializes in vacation homes & investments? Navigate owners and agents, Tiffany and Brandon Williamson, also have some amazing coastal short term rentals available if you’re looking to surprise someone special in your life with a nice beach or downtown Wilmington getaway. Find them HERE!

No matter if you're looking to splurge or enjoy a quiet picnic with a lighthouse view (Oak Island above), the North Carolina coast is the perfect place to spend your Valentine's Day.
